For all the guys who still remember Flying Dragon from “old tong ren lu”, the bar now moved to the neighborhood of the Manhattan Club again. The Flying Dragon was legendary for the sexy girls and the nice athmosphere. They still have a high “beauty-level”. You should not miss to visit the location. They also provide free pooltable and a good soccer table. On the second floor you can enjoy privat lounge places also and they now serve some small food, so a great place to start or end your manhattan club evening. The location is near the manhattan club, between portman hotel and big bamboo, so it is easy to find.
Directly at the corner of Chang Yi Lu and Dong Fang Lu, you will find the first Girlsbar of a long line. Bar Log Cabin is a nice place with around 10 Girls (and some of them are really sexy). They have a small pool table, but much more interesting are the sofa lounges on the second floor. For a hot party, they also offer a leatherbed on the second floor.

And, since ending its itinerant hopping, this bar has become Shanghai’s most consistent bash. It also presents opportunities for entertainment: the girls occasionally get drunk and take swings at each other, a novel sight to see until someone gets blood in your drink.

The menu is mostly pizza and pasta, with a few more ambitious mains, but generally, the simpler, the better. Great for a weekday meal; not so good for impressing a date.

An intimate, casual little bistro from Craig Willis. Looks like an apartment, cooks simple, tasty dishes like the friend who’s always showing up everyone else at the dinner party. Willis has been the longtime chef for the Wagas group; this restaurant marks his settling down.
Colabo is a chain of Italian restaurants. It’s most famous location is in a beautiful villa in the French Concession, upstairs from the thumping Dragon club. Specialties include the grilled beef and lamb dishes cooked over a real charcoal grill.
Before they moved, all-you-can-drink nights, a rotating circuit of DJs, live music and its unique, cave-like interior made this underground bar well-known among young expats. Their old venue closed in November but this equally underground spot has opened up to continue the tradition of great nights out.
It is located in the former TGI Fridays space, this music lounge-cum-bar is spread over two floors–the downstairs is the club area, and upstairs is for late night KTVing. Look out for occasional open bar deals and performances. Relax in the spacious outdoor seating area for a break from the dancing.
It is located in the old mansion of the early 20th-century businessman and politician T.V. Soong, this establishment’s inviting first floor bar is accented by warm red colors and tasteful wall decorations.
